The pre-China post

Ni Hao, I am off to China on Saturday, I will be spending one week within north China, Harbin, and another week in Nanjing. Excited doesn't cover it.

I spent yesterday at the Chinese visa office in London getting all my visa sorted. I filled in the application by hand, as I was struggling with the online application. This seemed to make no difference once I was there. It involved waiting around and then being seen too which only takes about 5 minutes. If you are applying for a Chinese visa, make sure you bring everything with you, and a copy of your passport (they charge you 20 whole pence for this if you forget like I did). I handed in a copy of a letter of invitation I was given by Harbin university which we are visiting and flight and itinerary details.

I am traveling to china with my university so I cannot give specific information about what we are doing, but I know we are visiting the largest tiger park in the world! Eeeeeeee

I have no idea what to pack and am still struggling to get through all the washing I have brought back from the last term of uni! I'm heading up to London again on Thursday to collect my visa and passport and hopefully do a little shopping for my trip. I SO want either some loose stripy trousers or this dreamy Zara dress, I want to try things on as otherwise I won't have time to return them!.

My very kind sister has allowed me to borrow her go pro, so I'll be taking that and hopefully filming some of my trip, as well having my normal camera. So be prepared for some photo heavy posts. Yaaaaaay

much love

Vauxhall Roller Disco

It was Jade/Caramels 21st Birthday party and where better to go than back to the good old roller disco. My friends and I used to go almost every weekend for a phase back in year 8.

Vauxhall roller disco was amazing! we got there early and it wasn't too busy! which was very good for honing in on your amazing skills. Then it soon livened up. The birthday girl even got special glowing skates.

My photos don't look as good as it was! You'd skate round. get thirsty and get a vodka and lemonade for £4.50 not too bad! I think everyone fell over at least once, even me! It didn't hurt too much, and we were back up skating in no time!

I would definitely recommend a visit.

Colemans Hatch Show 2014

This year I entered the local country show, I entered a hummingbird cake, which is so fruity and delicious. unfortunately I didn't win...boo hoo :( I had the most entries in the show to compete against, so I guess I cant be too mad. It only cost £1 to enter and was rather exciting, there is no price money only trophies and bits of card BUT you got to take your cake home to feed to your friends. It was a cute day, with lots of stalls to look around.

Photos of other entries, the flowers were my favourite.
